When my child began showing signs of developmental delay, speech delay, social deficits, gastrointestinal distress, skin eruptions….I had a strong suspicion that he would be diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. I made an appointment with Early Intervention, a developmental pediatrician, a speech therapist, and the list goes on. But I didn’t have six months to wait for the official diagnosis, so I decided to pursue autism treatment right away.

Although I possess a degree in chemistry, that does not automatically confer any knowledge of the autism recovery process.
